Typhoon 2001, a freeware game inspired by both the Atari Jaguar hit game Tempest 2000 and the arcade hit Tempest. It takes ideas and concepts from both games, but rearranges and changes them. A few new ideas have been implemented as well.

It can also run on a none 3d graphics accelerator especially on a laptop. Game settings can also be adjusted by entering the default "enter" key (which is the superzaper button). to run it, just extract it anywhere in a folder, navigate to the files location and right click on typhoon to set permission for your username to be able to execute the game. after the permission is set, double click on it like a exe file and it launches. configuring the controls is needed or you will expirience slow mouse movement just like myself. Also read the readme file for keyboard control of the game.(HIT ENTER ON THE KEYBOARD TO CONFIGURE IT) in terminal, just cd into the directory and execute it like (exec "typhoon")
