There isn't much things left for me to greatly improve game's speed, Allegro's Linux port is outdated and 50% slower than other ports. I'm sure Allegro's linux speed will enhance in the future with some assembler. hydron

This game has some promise as a cheesy little thing, but unfortunately ran very, very, very slowly on my machine. It was only playable at the smallest size, and even there even navigating the menus was sluggish! The graphics library in use is pretty weird. I think this just goes to show, Allegro isn't a great gaming platform.
