This is a puzzle game where pieces of a computer network are to be turned in the right/left direction to make all computers connected to the same network.

This game is clone of NetWalk.

Everyone, be careful, the source package unpacks into current directory. Make sure you create a subdirectory for it before unpacking.

Also, some instructions how to build it, i.e. some INSTALL or README file would be very nice to have.

Hi there!

On my system (Debian testing/unstable, X.Org 7.3, NVIDIA driver 100.14.19), trying to run the game produces the following error message:

X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 1 (X_CreateWindow)
Serial number of failed request: 22
Current serial number in output stream: 23

This happens with the binary release as well as with one I compiled myself (both 0.3.1). Any ideas how to fix that?

I have tested the game on X11R6 only. Maybe there is a backward-capability problem with X11R7, in next release I check and fix it.

Interface: OpenGL instead of Qt, Different map sizes, custom map (can be chosen by id) and another map level generator :-)

Also, Net, which has customisable size, wrap-around walls, seed vs specified puzzles, immovable barriers, but very simple graphics.

Simon Tatham seems to have quite a few puzzle games on his website, most derived from things he found elsewhere. I think it's a great idea to have different versions of the same game concept, because it encourages innovation and the different developers can learn off each other.

also, try KNetWalk ( It uses QT4 and looks MUCH nicer...
