Crossfire Extended Release is a 2D python based non-proprietary (GPLv2) graphical medieval fantasy roguelike RPG with a multiplayer focus. There are more races, classes, skills, and magic complexity than the typical D&D inspired cRPG. The player-created worlds available to play range from castles in the sky, to not so mundane surface worlds, to subterranean worlds, and even to the underworld.

Additional maps include the full mlab set, with the cloud city, castle in the sky, the lower land mass, prisondemadness palace, and nethack all the way down to hell, where the city of Dis resides.
